Company History
Fantasy of Flight is the result of a personal hobby that became a mission.  He’d been collecting vintage airplanes for most of his adult life. and in 1993, he established Fantasy of Flight as a place to park what had become one of the world’s largest privately owned airplane collections.  He very quickly discovered that his love was shared by others. And he set about turning the park into a bonafide tourist attraction that feeds the desire to break the bonds of gravity and achieve something beyond our normal grasp. Current revenue = $2 million
Number of employees = 65

Personal History
Kermit is a genuine throwback to the old Renaissance Man envisioned by Thomas Jefferson.  He is a barnstormer pilot, winner of numerous national titles, including "United States National Aerobatics Champion" - which he's won twice.  He is a composer as well, in the Jimmy Buffet style.  In addition, Kermit is a craftsman himself, hauling out the welding torch and wrenches when needed.  And he is an architectural historian who has recreated Fantasy of Flight in the art-deco style.  Mostly, Kermit is committed to the dream of learning and accomplishment – to the point where his mission statement concludes simply:
                 "I hope…
                         the fantasy of flight…
will help light that spark within…
to continue you on your journey.”
