Company History
The Boat Tree was established in 1975.  Mr. Pozo purchased the Boat Tree in 1992, when it's sales were $2 million per year.  As of June 1996 sales had grown to $20 million per year.  With 100 employees, The Boat Tree's competitive edge comes from focusing on customer service and benefits.

Personal History
Joe's story is part of the American Dream. 
He arrived in the United States at age 8 and ended up attending the University of Miami, where he majored in accounting.  He moved to Orlando in 1972 and was involved in various high-growth startup ventures prior to purchasing The Boat Tree. 

Joe's leadership bore fruit in a 50% compounded growth rate for 4 years, which has earned him the "World's Largest Regal Dealer" Award 5 years running and established Boat Tree as Central Florida's largest marine dealer.  Joe is a board member of the Central Florida Marine Trade Association.
