Personal History

As a boy in rural Oklahoma, Don’s dream had been to someday have a minimum wage job.  That goal, and his life, changed radically when he discovered the world of command and control in the Army, and found that he had leadership ability.  After his service as an chopper pilot, Don entered college and earned a BBA in Accounting & Finance at the University of Oklahoma.

After college Don rennovated and sold various properties, then moved up to buying and operating laundromats, restaurants and convenience stores.  He then branched into agri-business and energy, with continuing interests in the oil and gas industry.

In 1978 Don founded Medical Help, a temporary help agency in the nursing field, and eventually discovered that the owners of most temp agencies had neither the temperament nor expertise to handle the paperwork side of the business; nor did they have sufficient funds to finance themselves.  So in 1993, Don started Realtime Services to meet those specific needs.  Since then it has grown to $50 million in size.

Married (Nancy Ann) with 3 children (Amy, Kathryn, Texanna).

Special Interests
active helicopter and airplane pilot, travel
