The 1-to-1 is the engine that keeps
the TEC Process rolling.
That's a confidential 2 hour meeting that each member has with their Chair in between the TEC meetings. This session is used to:

• Check your progress on your issue from the previous TEC meeting.
• Help you develop an issue for the next TEC meeting.
• Talk through issues that are too sensitive even for the privacy of a TEC meeting
• Work through issues that require extended attention

The 1-to-1 is the quintessential coaching session
The Chair does things that few others can do in your life:

• confronts you
• cheers you on
• sees what's really eating you, and
• tells you, "I'm proud of you" --- and it matters.

The chemistry between you and
the Chair is, therefore, crucial
